Lie makes the body susceptible to illness

Recent studies claim that honesty can improve physical and mental health. In other words, like the easy lie can make physical pain. So that was presented by Professor of Psychology from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana - Anita Kelly in Psychological Association's annual meeting of the United States.

In that study, Anita honesty tests to 110 people (age 18-71) for 10 weeks. The result, it is evident that lie to the health of respondents to decline. "When a lie, their health seemed to decline. Instead, their health improved again when they are honest." he said, as reported by USA Today.

In addition, it was found also some physical and mental complaints due to lying, such as feeling tense or melancholy, sore throat and head.

In line with Anita Kelly, Professor of Loyola University in Chicago Linda Stroh said that lie could make the mind a bit of stress that impact on health. "When you do not lie, the body experiences less stress," he said.

This was also echoed by Robert Feldman, a psychologist from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, USA. According to him, honest and sincere behavior makes people more psychologically healthy.
